SICK LEAVE: | Shall accrue one (1) sick hour for every thirty (30) hours worked. A new Employee shall be granted prorated sick leave based on his date of hire after he completes his probationary period. Sick leave will be computed at straight-time rates and will not be counted as hours worked for overtime calculations. Employees may accumulate up to fifty-six (56) hours of Sick Leave per year. Employees may carry forward to the next calendar year all accrued but unused Sick Leave. |
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible to the Aircraft Servicer Lead/Terminal Manager for satisfactory accomplishment of all aircraft servicing related tasks. This person responds to the fuel servicing requests while complying with airfield safety standards and speed limits and includes inspections of fuel servicing equipment.
This position is accountable for meeting contract requirements, company policies and procedures, and safety performance standards in compliance with all federal, state, local, and company safety regulations. Accountable for timely completion and accuracy of all work. This position is responsible for prompt reporting of accidents/incidents, injuries, and hazardous situations and violations to the Aircraft Servicer Lead/Terminal Manager. Performs general housekeeping duties of all fuel facilities. Must be familiar with the nature and theory of static electricity and dissipation measures. This position requires an understanding and working knowledge of hazardous, safety, and environmental warnings.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION STATEMENTS
Respond to aircraft servicing requests from the Fuels Controller.
Responsible for all safety requirements applicable to aircraft fuel servicing, fuel truck replenishments, and other operations involving fuel movements.
Operates in an environment with fluctuating workloads based on the number of aircraft sorties scheduled.
Responds immediately to fuel servicing requests while complying with airfield safety standards and speed limits.
Performs daily/weekly/monthly inspections on fuel servicing equipment.
Generates accurate fuel accountability forms.
Complies with fuel safety and Environmental Protection Agency directives and monitors fuel filtering and metering equipment during operations to detect any malfunctions.
Washes and cleans fuel servicing units as required.
Receives fuel requests via radio from the fuel controller and responds in a safe and timely manner.
Aware of all phases and responsibilities involved in the storage, distribution, quality surveillance, and accountability for liquid petroleum products.
Has operational knowledge of fuel filtering and metering devices, including their tolerance parameters.
Reports maintenance discrepancies for corrective action.
Reports and documents discrepancies found in equipment and systems.
Performs with minimal supervision.
Responsibility for maintaining security in controlled areas.
Performs cleaning and housekeeping in all common areas as required.
Performs other duties associated with the job classification.
Completes all tasks in accordance with the PWS.

Education: | High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required. |
Experience: | Preferred five (5) years experience working in aircraft services for DoD or civilian equivalence. |
Certifications & Licenses | Possess a current Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License with hazardous cargo endorsements; possess a flight line driving permit; Must be able to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check (NAC). |

Other Physical Requirements
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – steel-toed shoes, eyes, hands, ears, and head protection in various aspects of performing duties.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work conditions may be both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor work is subject to extreme temperatures and inclement weather conditions and other conditions determined by the nature of the job. Subject to hazards to include exposure to fumes from fuel and other petroleum products. Exposure to aircraft engine noise.
